Work Experience: Dr Younan has received her M.Sc degree in Conservative dentistry in 1999 from the University of Baghdad/ Iraq. She received her B.D.S degree in Dentistry in 1994 from the University of Baghdad/ Iraq. After graduation she became a faculty member in the department of Conservative dentistry/ College of Dentistry/ Baghdad University/ Iraq.

She used to practice dentistry in her private clinic in the afternoons. Prior to joining Al – Zahra, Dr Younan worked as a specialist dentist in a private clinic in Fujairah/ UAE. She worked as a part time lecturer at Ajman University for 3 years.

During her years of experience she developed special skills in root canal treatments and retreatments. As a specialist in conservative dentistry, apart from endodontia, she deals routinely with all types of fillings, cosmetic dentistry, crowns and fixed bridges.

She is a Member of the Iraqi dental association and an Affiliate member of the American Dental association.
