An alumnus of St. John's Medical College, Bangalore, India, Dr. Dore trained at the University Hospital, Leuven, Belgium, and obtained Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. This is one of the leading centres for gastroenterology in Europe. He has also been actively involved in academic research at the University of Bern, Switzerland, followed by faculty assignments at University affiliated hospitals in Belgium. On return to India, he served as Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology at St. John's before entering private practice.
During the course of his career, Dr. Dore has developed a special interest in helicobacter associated G.I. disorders, liver diseases and newer breath test technologies for evaluation of G.I. tract and liver conditions. His research papers on these subjects have been published in several international publications of repute.
In addition to routine Upper and Lower G.I. diagnostic procedures, he is experienced in therapeutic endoscopic modalities of treating Upper G.I. Bleeding, Variceal sclerotherapy, Oesophageal dilatation, Achalasia Balloon Dilatation, Colonoscopic polypectomies, etc., as well as diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP for the treatment of common bile duct stones and pancreatic disorders.
