Elias is a native of Damascus Syria, Did his medical training in Damascus University, Received his diploma of doctor of medicine from Damascus university, faculty of medicine in 1991.

Did his internal medical training in Cleveland, Ohio. In the United States of America, Received the American Board of Internal Medecine certificate in 1998, Worked as an internist in the United States of America for four years After board certification.

After moving to the United Arab Emirates he worked in a private clinic in Al Ain for two years. Joined AL Zahra hospital in May 2005.

Special medical interests include:

• Diagnosis and treatment of digestive and respiratory diseases.
• The management of inpatient or outpatient complex general internal medicine diseases.
• Member of the American College of Physicians since 1999.
