- Chairman of the Supervising Committee of Anesthesia in the IMBS from Jan 2004 – July 2006.
- Vice President (2001-2004). The President of the Iraqi Society of Anesthesia & ICU from April 2004 till now.
- Member of the General Assembly of the Pan Arab Federation of Societies of Anesthesia, Intensive Care & Pain Management.
- Head of Anesthetic Committee of the International Iraqi Medical Association.
