Dr Edgard’s interest for orthodontics started during his second year of dental studies. He discovered very early that among all the other dental specialties, orthodontics was the most appealing for him. Determined and ambitious he traveled to France to get an academic degree in orthodontics and he joined the University of Bordeaux where he was tutored by some of the most experienced orthodontists in Europe such as Pr Jean Darque, Pr Andre Pujol, Pr Marie- Jose Boileau, Pr Anne Marie Duhart. He completed his training at the hospitals of Bordeaux treating all kinds of dental malocclusions from 1999 to 2002. he then returned to his home country Lebanon and established himself in his private orthodontic office practicing exclusive orthodontics in Beirut. After 5 years of practice he joined the Al Zahra team with the ambition to get the same reputation at the United Arab Emirates as the one he built in Beirut with the quality of his treatments.

Dr Edgard is a young and talented orthodontist always concerned about providing the best standard of care for his patients, that’s why he stays updated with the latest techniques, always attending conferences and private courses worldwide.

"I know how important it is to have a beautiful smile" he always says to his patients because he himself used to avoid smiling until he did his own orthodontic treatment to fix his own smile so when he talks about braces he surely knows what he is talking about because he has worn them at the age of 31.

Dr Edgard holds as well as a master’s degree in Orthodontics, a CES in mouth biology, a CES in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, a CES in preventive pediatric dentistry from France. He is fluent in Arabic, French and English, in addition to speaking Spanish and a little Italian.
