Specialist Dental Surgeon and Oral Implantologist

Dr. Bushnaq grew up in the UAE and was educated at the International School of Choueifat in Sharjah. His name may sound familiar as his parents have both practiced medicine in Dubai for 30 years. He left for UK in 1990 where he obtained his dental qualification at the University of Edinburgh in 1994. He subsequently held various specialist training posts in hospitals all over the UK where he gained a wealth of experience in all dental specialties, but mainly in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During this time, he became a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDSRCS).

Since 1998, Dr. Bushnaq has also worked in private practice in London where he developed an interest in Implant Dentistry. He joined the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital of University College London, where he trained under some of Europe's top academics and clinicians and obtained his M.Sc in Implant Dentistry. He then worked at the Eastman International Centre for Excellence in Dentistry before joining our team at Al Zahra.

Dr. Bushnaq is well-versed in General Dentistry with special expertise and experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Dentistry . He is fluent in Arabic and English in addition to speaking some Italian and French.
