Dr. Hussaini graduated from the University of Damascus in 1972 and proceeded to England immediately thereafter for post graduate training in various surgical disciplines that included orthopaedics, cardiothoracic, general and urological surgery. He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow, in 1977 and continued in his chosen subject of urology at Farnborough , Kent and Guys Hospitals , which are considered among the best in UK . After a tenure as Consultant Urologist & General Surgeon at the Military Hospital in Syria, Dr. Hussaini relocated to the UAE where, since 1991 and prior to joining Al Zahra, he was Consultant and Head of the Department of Urology at Al Baraha Hospital, Dubai.

Over the years, Dr. Hussaini has accumulated vast experience in all aspects of urology , andrology and male infertility , with particular emphasis on prostatic disease and stone treatment and with all kinds of lithotripsy procedures . Lately, he has also acquired special expertise in the treatment of female stress incontinence and is one of the regional experts on TVT treatment of this condition.
