Dr. Kabil brings with him a wealth of experience, having been a practising surgeon in England for the past 22 years of which the last 16 have been in his chosen specialty.

During the course of his career Dr. Kabil has been engaged in several teaching and research projects. Salient among these have been his published works on rhinomanometry in measuring nasal resistance, a comparative study on the duration of grommet retention in relation to their location on the tympanic membrane, and a prospective study to assess the results of uvulopalatopharyngoplasty for snoring and sleep apnoea syndrome.

In addition to the management of general ENT disorders in adults and children, Dr. Kabil has a special interest in

  • Middle ear surgery.
  • Plastic Surgery of the external ear and nose.
  • Modern fibre optic diagnostic and therapeutic techniques of the nose, pharynx and larynx.
  • Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS).
  • Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Syndrome and their surgical treatment, and
  • Tinnitus and its modern management employing the Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT) program (Jastrobof/Hazel model).
