Dr. Amany Talaat Hanna

Dr. Amany graduated from Ain Shams Medical School (1985), completing a 3 year internship at Ain Shams University Hospitals. She received her Masters in Medicine (1991), and finished her MRCP in the UK (1998).
Dr. Amany had a 2-year training in the Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Hepatology Department in Ninewells University Hospital, Scotland, UK, after which she was granted her MD in Cairo, Egypt (2001). She recently received a specialty certificate in Gastroenterology from the UK (2017).

Dr. Amany has practiced medicine as a Resident General Medicine (1987-1990) in Ain Shams University Hospitals, Egypt. She worked as General Medicine Registrar in Amiri Teaching Hospital, Kuwait (1993-1996).
Dr. Amany completed her membership of the Royal College and worked as an Honorary Registrar and Clinical Research Fellow; Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endoscopy in Ninewells University and Teaching Hospital, UK (1997-2000). She returned to Ain Shams University as part of the teaching staff and a Consultant until 2013, after which she joined Al Zahra Hospital as a Specialist ‘A’ in Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Endoscopy (2013).

Dr. Amany has a range of expertise including Gastroscopies, Colonoscopies, diagnostic and therapeutic including Balloon Dilation and Polypectomies, a wide variety of digestive system diseases, organic and functional, and liver diseases including fatty liver.

Dr. Amany speaks Arabic and English.
