Dr. Sona Rajan Mohana Rajan
Dr. Sona completed her MBBS (1992 – 1998) at Karnataka University and her internship at the Government District Hospital (1998 – 1999) of the same University. She did a CPR Pro for Professional Rescuer training at the American Health Institute (2007 – 2008), and an Advanced Cardiac Life Support training at IGMH, MALE in the Republic of Maldives (2009).
Dr. Sona worked as a Resident Medical Officer at Stanley Hospital (1999 – 2000) and then as a Junior Resident Doctor at Hindu Rao Hospital (2000 – 2001), at Aruna Asaf Ali Government Hospital (2001 – 2002), and at Kasturba Hospital (2003 – 2004), India.
D. Sona held the position of Medical Officer at the Department of Public Health of Maldives (2004 – 2005), then General Practitioner at the Emirates Private Clinic (2006 – 2008), UAE. After which she worked as a Casualty Medical Officer at Chelsa Hospital & Surgical Center (2008) in India, a Medical Officer in the Department of Accident Emergency at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (2008 – 2009) in the Maldives, and a Casualty Medical Officer at Sabarigiri Hospital (2009) in India.
Dr. Sona is currently a member of the Indian Medical Council, and the Ministry of Health in Abu Dhabi.
